Memories of Romance

She fades away
slowly,
like the edges of a burning polaroid;
twisting and curling
away
into madness.

No beginning
Nor end
Nameless

I sought to burn her to memory
But charred her to broken scraps;
adrift in the wind,
glowing, smoldering,
fading away
into endless day.
